No Contact Person In Address Book

That really has nothing to do with Mercury.

It is a Mail Transfer Agent that provides mail transfer services in an efficient & configurable manner.

It is not an all singing and all dancing "groupware solution".

Hi,

I am using Microsoft Outlook Express as mail integrator for workstation pc. I am facing a problem to find a new (internal) contact person in outlook address book which I just created using mercury32 in the server. However, I can send and received mail with that. I really appreciate if anyone could help me for this matter.

Thanks in advance.

You have to manually add any addresses to Outlook Express address book. It will not get them automatically from the Mercury mail server.

hi dilberts... actually I was talking about the internal (local) mail using the network system in the office. Do I need to add every new user to all address book members?

Thanks

Probably.

Depends on your "network system" and if OE can 'talk' to it.

If you have an LDAP server, OE may be able to do lookups on that, (I don't use OE so don't know).

I think Pegasus Mail can share address books and get local addresses from Mercury, but OE can't.

I'm not sure of the specifics as we don't have a setup like this.

This is the first time I dealt with Mercury...  It would be crazy if I have to add every new user into every user's address book. We've got more than 100 users here in the office. There's must be an easy ways...  Thanks for your help anyway.
