Failed RCPT restriction is per SMTP session. If the short-term blacklist option isn't switched on previous problems won't affect the next send attempt (and if it is the IP blacklisting will expire after 30 minutes). Could it be that there is some other issue with the settings in her email client?

I have a new user who made numerous attempts at sending SMTP mail before she was fully set up.  Now she is being blocked by the "Limit maximum number of failed RCPT attempts".  How do I remove her address from this list?

Either restarting Mercury or waiting 30 mins will remove her from the short term blacklist.

Not true.  This happened two days ago.  I unchecked the limit option in settings to allow her to send messages two days ago and the short-term blacklist has always been unchecked.  When I rechecked the limit option yesterday it re-blocked her.  If I turn on the 30 minute black list will this clear it out?  I'm going to restart the server to see if this works.
