mercury send email problem
error message:
553 Invalid RFC821 mailbox specification.
OS Windows XP SP3 or Windows 7
Mercury Version Mercury/32, v4.72
Trying to setup mercury to smtp deliver messages to users defined in the mercury system (local users).
Have configured a DNS entry that points to a fake domain (for testing purposes):
C:\>ping alphacollege.com.au
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
Test mercury smtp mail delivery:
c:\>telnet alphacollege 25
220 alphacollege.com.au ESMTP server ready.
helo
250 alphacollege.com.au Hello, .
mail from:sender@alphacollege.com.au
250 Sender OK - send RCPTs.
rcpt to:receiver@alphacollege.com.au
553 Invalid RFC821 mailbox specification.
