Betreft: Betreft: REINSTATING DATA AFTER COMPUTER REFORMAT

Chris,

If Pegasus Mail works fine, there is no need to copy the files from the Programs-directory from your backup-destination.

Following a crash and reformatting of my hard drive, I have reinstalled Pegasus. Could you tell me which files I need to copy from my back up drive to reinstate the Pegasus data files. Thanks

Hello Chris,

You can copy the whole Pegasus Mail-directory eg. C:\PMAIL form your backup-destination to your new computer.
That will mostly do. Succes.

Hello Phons, thank you for your advice. I have copied the entire MAIL section of PMAIL into the new program and everything seems to be working just fine. I didn't copy the "Programs" section of PMAIL accross as I thought that may interfere with the running of the new program. My "saved" PMAIL was V4.41 and the new one I have loaded is V4.51.

Is my action correct or is there a reason I also need to copy the "Programs" file from my back-up drive?

Thanks, Chris
