how to delete emails - newbie

It seems to me that you should have some rows of Functions above each of your open windows, such as New, Reply, Forward, Delete: that sort of thing.

Why do you not check your Options, (Top Row, Tools > Options, which you can also access with Alt-F10)

Go down to User Interface, and if necessary click on the little ' + " box to see the choices there.  I have "A fixed toolbar under the menu" and "Standard" in the drop-down box under "Main window toolbar style".

Wiith these, I have all the mouse choices I could desire ...

Although for Delete, I usually have the item(s) highlighted, and hit either the Delete key or just D instead of running around with the mouse. But Green Trashcans work well, too!

Hi: I feel utterly stupid, after new computer purchase, to avoid Outlook I came to Pegasus, to avoid Outlook.  BUT I can't find easy mouse method to delete individual email, i.e. right click, or icon.  The only way I've been able to find is to highlight, and then use keyboard. DELETE key  A very clunky method, there must be a better way but after several weeks I still haven't found.  Any kind souls pls. advise. Thanks

Bob,

You can select one or more messages and then click at the button Delete (the one with the green Trashcan).
That will do.

Thank you.

I've found out one view of new mail has all the buttons, another one doesn't.   At any rate, I now have a green trashcan with which to delete. Thanks !
