I'm running v4.31 on Windows XP Professional. Is there a "smooth" way
to upgrade to v4.52 without having to recreate a lot of settings? Are
there any "gotchas" (i.e. features that have been removed or
drastically altered) I should be aware of? Thanks for any tips.
Just get the full installer and install it over the current version as an update. As long as you have not added anything outside of the normal installer to the system there will be no problem at all since it does not affect your settings.
FWIW, you really do not need v4.52 but you should be running v4.51.
