<p>Thanks for your tipps.</p><p>I have found the error and it was in the MercuryS setup where I had the localhost IP 127.0.0.1 instead of ASUS desktop IP 192.168.178.28 as IP interface to use!</p><p>Now I can receive the test message and hopefully also the status messages from my Linkstation without any additional changes on port settings or opening ports in the windows firewall. </p>

<ol><li>Is what I also thought, but no success untill now</li><li>XAMPP portcheck says mercury.exe on SMTP port 25</li><li>I opened the port 25 in Windows 7 firewall for the NAS IP now, but again no success when sending test message.</li><li>I also tried with inactivated firewall and exposed host on FritzBox without success </li></ol>

<p>Check that MercS is listening on the correct interface.</p><p>As they are on the same subnet, the FritzBox firewall should have nothing to do with it.</p><p>Any activity in the MercS log?</p><p>If not, you have a network setup problem not a mercury problem. </p>
