I posted the following to the newsgroup "comp.mail.pegasus-mail.ms-windows", but saw a suggestion that I might be more likely to get help here. Here's what I posted there:
My computer is running under Windows 7 (updated regularly), and I have
Pegasus 4.52 installed. Pegasus has been working normally (as far as I can
tell) until this morning. Something has happened to it, and I have no idea
what. I can reinstall it, but whatever the problem is could happen again,
so I want to find out what's going on in hopes that I can fix it without
reinstalling.
Here are the symptoms that I have noticed:
1. The three buttons for uploading and downloading messages are missing
from the button bar.
2. In the Tools menu, "Internet Options" is grayed out.
3. The File menu is now about half as long as usual. It has these
subitems: New Message, Open Saved Message, Read New Mail, Mail Folders,
Noticeboards, Print, and Exit.
If you have any idea what's going on here, please help me.
