Mercury/32 v4.72 and ModulePoll daemon

I upgraded from v4.62 to v4.72, and noted that the ModulePoll daemon

ceased to work.  Changed no settings, and couldn't resolve this.

I'm using Petr Jaklin's Module Poll on v4.72 and I just tested it with MercuryD.  The mail I sent to the MercuryD alias turned on MercuryD.

What version of Module Poll are you using?

What are you using it to trigger?

Have reverted to v4.62 in the meantime..

Any ideas on what I have overlooked?

The daemon will presumably need to be updated to work with Mercury 4.72, there are a number of internal changes in this version. As an alternative you could try using the web interface for Mercury. An updated version for Mercury 4.72 is available here:

Note though that if you run Mercury as a service it's presently not possible to poll modules remotely.

Thank you for that information, Rolf.

The old adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it" applies here.  V4.62 continues to give me excellent service with no faults, and the ModulePoll functionality is very important in my environment, so I'll let it be for the time being.
