Firstly, you need to understand that only Pegasus can read mail that has been encrypted using the built-in tool. Other methods need you to install a plug-in and exchange keys with correspondents.

I have been using Pegasus for many years and like it a lot. Presently on 4.51 on a Vista PC, POP3 email connection to
mail server and all is working fine. 

I thought I should start to encrypt certain email and understand that there is a built in module for that. I cannot get it to
work.

I have tried to send an encrypted email to myself by checking the encryption box in the view where I create a new email, add
a parrword, write the text and send it off. I get it back in a totally unreadable format - but then?? If I go to Rick Format folder
I am asked to enter my password but the text does not show up in the right way?

Where do I go wrong? How to I create an encrypted email using the built in encryption model?

I would appreciate your assistance - someone here who is using this a lot?
