I've searched the forums to see if this is answered, but I haven't managed to solve my problem with the information I've gleaned from other posts.
I'm using Pegasus Mail Version 4.41 (Win 32). When I'm home, and connecting to the Internet via my usual Service Provider, I have no trouble sending email, specifying the SMTP server of my ISP. When I connect to the Internet via a different route - from a wireless network, say, I am unable to send email, and always get the error:
------------
Delivery has failed on the enclosed message for the following
reasons reported either by the mail delivery system on the mail
relay host or by the local TCP/IP transport module:
554 5.7.1 <rbrodie@lantic.net>: Relay access denied
--------------
I have fiddled with various options in the SMTP setting, in the Network Configuration Section, but nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions would be more appreciated.
Thanks,
Ros.
