Setting Folder Attributes

Thank you gentlemen for your input.

Another frustrating avenue in my re-education after the demise of Outlook Express.

I'm a new user of Pegasus.  I have imported my mail from Outlook Express and want to change one of my imported folders to display the "To" mail address or recipients name if in my address book.  This folder was, in OE, my Sent Items folder.  I'm thinking that I would like this folder to have the same attributes as the "Copies to self" folder.  Alas I haven't figured a way to make this happen nor have I been able to find any other posts attempting to solve this same issue.  This folder has about 700 entries so I'm not real keen on combining it with my new "Copies to self" folder.

Can I get there from here?

 Thanks, Jim

Can't be done.  The copy to self folder contains a special type of message.  Check the raw view of a message in this folder and compare it to a message in a regular folder and you'll see why.  In addition, you can resend messages in the copy to self folder, you cannot with a regular message.

Can't be done *automatically*.

If you feel like it, you can change each message individually. Select it and press F12 (or right-click and select Message properties...). The dialog box which opens has an option to change the From text that is displayed in the list of messages.

I know that's not very helpful but it's better than a kick in the teeth...
