Excuse me, see there you are not the only one with this affliction, not understanding what is posted.  I did read that and remember doing it, just did not sink in to my thick head.  I am now investigating those links for more Help.

After reading most, not all posts about how Pegasus handles HTML formatted messages.  Text only is preferred, but; not everyone follows this as a normal routine.  Plus much of a message's impact and accentuation is lost in TXT only.

 Latest messages received by me have much to provide to inform of situations in other places.  It appears the only method that is reliable is WEB MAIL (BARF! HACK! Vomit!!).

 I have looked into using Sun Micro Systems' Open Office to open the messages to edit and remove some of the troublesome formatting, not any success yet still a work in progress, as it stands now it will take about 35 to 40 sec. just to open one of these messages in Folders/'preview mode' ticked.  Once the message is opened switching to any other Mail Box still will take many seconds just to view another message in another mailbox.  Changing any of the selections to disable the Rich Text messages makes little difference.  If I have any success with what I am attempting I will post here, good or bad.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I understand what at all you're talking about: Are you looking for a better way of rendering/displaying HTML messages? Or are you talking about composing HTML messages? If the former I can offer a not yet public alternative to Pegasus Mail's current renderer, if the latter there's no other way than to compose HTML pages outside of Pegasus Mail and attach them to your messages, I'm afraid ... but what specific features are lacking in your opinion?

@ 70+ that is how I have to think and then it comes out on the ends of my fingers.  Plus not accustomed to this laptop with the keys straight across and no separation to the keys either and my fingers are so large and insensitive to the feel of this keyboard.

That said, now to my problem - - if I knew how to create webpages and were fluent in HTML then creating a message would not be a problem.  Some that I communicate with forward messages from another that is in HTML and Pegasus handles it rather well for my display and reading.  It is when I attempt to forward that to others it becomes scrambled and most is either lost in the conversion or there are so many empty lines that Pegasus truncates it to about 40-45 characters wide and then shortened due to the empty lines.  Randomly removes other parts, from what I have found.  This is not just with this one message, all that have come in have been changed after they leave my system.

Or it is just me not knowing how to use this powerful bit of software, over powering my dumbness.  I have been attempting to use Pegasus since about 1998 and every time I feel I am getting a handle on it something else will throw me a curve.  I was hoping Mr. Harris could use me as an example of the simpleness of use of Pegasus because even I could become a master of this complex e-mail client.  I guess not!

 As you have admitted to about not being a native (English) speaker ... from what I can see and understand from you, I am supposed to be a native (English) person as well as speaker and have much difficulty in expressing my self clearly enough to explain my problems.  I eventually am able to do that . . . but with many words and several messages.  So you are doing a better job than I can do.

 I am not attempting to do my composing in HTML as I do not know how.  NO, I have not attempted to forward the messages as an attachment.  Had not even thought of it that way, will do with the next one.  Thank you so very much for this assistance and having the patients to stay with me to this point and understanding my messages.

Excuse me, as I had stated in my first post . . . the use of the Sun Micro Systems' Open Office Writer  being used to do the editing of those messages for resending from Pegasus Mail.  It did not work for sending them out, you may edit them but even the OpenOffice could not connect to my e-mail smtp server for sending let alone attempting to move them to Pegasus.

Well, for enabling OpenOffice for attaching documents to Pegasus Mail messages you need to install some additional tools like described at their respective download pages (this one links to their "start page" so to speak).
