Thanks again Thomas I am now trying via Thunderbird..but not easy...[:(]

I downloaded my mails to my client, but I want to leave them on the server to be able to access them at other locations. I have now changed the settings so in the future they will stay on the server. Question is how can i put the 935 messages that i now have locally back on the server?

 thanks a lot!

The only way I know to do that without some specific info about the server would be to forward the message to your self without editing.  Normally though the way I would do this with my servers would be to either use IMAP4 to connect and move or FTP into the server and manually move the files to the mailbox directory.

Thanks Thomas!

Its mail from yahoo.com. The FTP option is interesting (i dont have a clue what is IMAp4) what would I use as FTP adress/username to send the files if my emailadres is peitjepuk@yahoo.com?

FTP is not possible so only sending them to your Yahoo e-mail address without editing is an option.  If you have a paid Yahoo account they may also provide IMAP4 however I doubt it since all of the Yahoo! Mail Plus just talks about POP3.
