I think that it is the only setting get lost.

I'm using Windows XP.

May be this misbehaviour  is been caused because a great number of mail folders?

I'm triyng to change the sort order in some folders (sort unread before read+sort in reverse order), but when I close and reopen those, the message order is the same at the beginning.

Is there any way to edit those preferences working in a configuration file? wich?

Thanks in advance.

There is no server side sort order, it's done in the client. (Was this meant as a Pegasus question? If so I can move it to Pegasus community support.)

I'm sorry, it's about Pegasus Mail.

Thank you.

Try to activate the option "Remember and apply each folder's sorting mode separately" under "Tools -> Options -> Incoming mail -> Preview mode settings".

I will try.

Thank you.

That option was activated and the behaviour remains the same (sort order is lost when exiting the folder).

I deactivate that setting and activate it another time, but the order is lost.

Do other option changes also get lost after restarting Pegasus Mail? Which version of Windows do you use?
