I have some major problem with the SMTP server. If I try to use the normal port 25 I can not send mail from my client program, if I use some other port I can not receive mail from other mail servers. if I use the optionlal port and port 25, again no other server can relay to my local accounts. Sometimes the mail arrrives from some mail accounts, like I have two mail accounts and one of them works for me to send to my local accouts and the other just blain blank don´t do it. '

I know this post is a bit blurry, do any one know what the problem is?

Know that I have no firewall up so it can´t be that.

Server to server SMTP communication is always on port 25, so you need to make sure that incoming SMTP traffic from port 25 on your router/firewall is redirected to whatever port MercuryS is set to use on your Mercury server. Mail submission from email clients is a matter between them and the server, and you can set some other port than port 25 if you prefer, but it shouldn't be necessary.

To find out what is happening you should check MercuryS logs. It could for instance be that Mercury is refusing mail because it doesn't recognize the recipient as local. If you want help with checking Mercury settings please post the contents of the Mercury.ini file (first remove any passwords it may contain, though).
