Pegasus has STOPPED opening . . .

I would also like to apologize for not mentioning the fact this problem is solved and this can be closed.  In my rushing around taking care of many problems in other systems for friends has just kept me too busy to really complete any task or message as they should be handled.

I will attempt to be more watchful in the future,

Greetings from LeonSprings, Texas USofA,

Having a very strange problem and feel it could be a virus or similar problem with Pegasus Mail only.  Also it could be me, I am a very curious animal and like to experiment even when I do not know what I am doing.  That is all of the time.  I was attempting to setup my Pegasus Mail to be accessed from other computers and the main program on only one system.  Yet it is still fully installed on all systems of my small LAN.  Only one computer is effected by this and all that will happen when clicking on the PM Icon is the logo only flashes on my screen and will not open my client.  My administrator account was not effected, until I attempted to open the User access account that was having the problem from within my administrator account.  Now both accounts display the same problem, not opening my client and not able to access the mail from there.

I even re-installed Pegasus after complete removal, no HELP there it is still a problem.

Thank you for reading about this problem just hope there is a fix I can do to correct my ERROR and get me out of trouble with my Wife, it is her computer.

The most likely issue is described in this thread. Here's another one.

idw,

Thank you for that 'heads-up' and alerted me to possible other problems.  That did not HELP any at all, there were not any 0byte *.cnm files in any folder any where.  Did find about 90 files of just about any file in the user's folder (my Wife's) that had parentheses around the number indicating they were duplicates of existing files.  Removed all the dups and vola they are now working again.  Even my administrator account even though there were not any dups or *.cnm files at all in that folder.

Problem fixed.  Thank you for the guidance through this problem,
