PMail 4.52 on XP SP3: "Just-in-time debugging failed"
Bumped. SOMEONE must have encountered this previously?
I don't think so (at least with regard to JIT-debugging). The only way to provide some useful debugging information in your case would be by using my MiniDump extension (you'll most probably have to use the "stand-alone" debugger, see the ReadMe file included). But you may check this post and this one before doing so.

Hello all,

I've just upgraded 4.4x to 4.52 on my XP SP3 box. When I run 4.52, I see this error:

"An unhandled win32 exception occurred in winpm-32.exe [2124]. Just-In-Time debugging this exception failed with the following error: No installed debugger has Just-In-Time debugging enabled. In Visual Studio, Just-In-Time debugging can be enabled from Tools/Options/Debugging/Just-In-Time."

Now, according to Windows Explorer I do have VS 2008 (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\), but it's nowhere to be found in the Start menu. I believe it was installed as some sort of adjunct to a different MS program (maybe .NET?).

What must I do to correct this problem? I'd cheerfully enable JIT debugging, but I don't even see how to run VS8; no application seems to say "run me".
