Pegasus and windows live issues
My internet supplier has struck a deal with Microsoft to move all of it's internet services to Windows live. They have instructed all users to move their mail over.
I managed to configure my Windows live mailbox but cannot configure Pegasus to access the Windows live mailbox. I have been using Pegasus for years and want to continue.
Anyone have any information on how to configure Pegasus to access Windows Live?

I'm afraid I don't know the specifics but I'm sure that your ISP's helpline or website will have the connection settings that you need. My ISP, VirginMedia, recently moved customer mailboxes over to Google Mail but they did publish clear instructions on their website about how to configure your mail client.
Usually when this kind of thing happens you'll get step-by-step instructions (with screenshots) for the major clients like Outlook and Thunderbird. What you'll probably need is the basic connection info such as server hostnames and port numbers that they tend to publish in a very basic table under "other mail clients".

I contacted my ISP and got the server, port and username settings. Pegasus still does not work.
The help desk staff were of little help. I knew that I was in trouble when they said Pegasus never heard of it but lets give it a shot.
The final advice was tro find out how to set up Pegasus for Hotmail in termsof the port settings etc. and that should help.
