 I'd really need to use Mercury's delayed mail feature, but I cannot use the remail extension on Pegasus Mail because all of our clients connect to Mercury via SMTP.

Is there any other way to trigger Mercury's Remail feature besides using Pmail's remail extension? Maybe via some special X- headers in the message being delayed/remailed or something?

And, more generally, since Mercury/Pegasus manual and help file do not explain the inner workings of this powerful feature nor the syntax to trigger it, is there any documentation around that can give more informations on it and maybe help in using it?

I've just installed Pegasus and tried to find a feature that I thought I have used it some time around 2000 at work. I hope somebody can correct me if I was mistaken but I remembered clearly that Pegasus let me specify the time and date (in the future) to send an e-mail. That was the only reason that I searched for Pegasus and installed it after so many years. Was this feature actually available back then and was eliminated in latter version? Or was it just a figment of my imagination? If it's still available, please point me to the right direction. Thank you!

It's not really a Pegasus Mail feature, it's done by Mercury using the "Remail" function. From the Mercury help:

"Notify" queue directory  Mercury's mail server supports two deferred mail commands - Notify, which sends a broadcast message to the sender at a given time (if broadcasts are supported on your network), and Remail, which sends a mail message at a particular time. For these commands to be available, Mercury requires a directory where it can create status files for each request: enter the path to that directory in this field (the directory must exist already - Mercury will not create it). If this field is blank, the "notify" and "remail" commands will be unavailable.
