Pegasus and Groupwise 6.0

This does work even with GroupWise 8.01. IMAP is required but has worked well for me. The Pegasus client is still hard to beat for its advanced functions (one I use frequently is bounce).

Mercury/32 is the in and out relay for my GroupWise system, BTW.

Hi all.

Does anyone know if I can use Pegasus Mail as a client only for Novell Groupwise 6?

I'm running a Groupwise 6.0 sp4 Post Office system on a Novell Netware 6.0 sp5 server, with MS Windows 7 32bit Ultimate as the workstation o/s, and I would like to use Pegasus as the email client on each workstation - very much like Pegasus used to be used, years ago, with early versions of Netware eg 3.12.

Please let me know if anyone thinks this is feasible.

Thanks.

Yes but only as a IMAP4 client accessing the Groupwise server.  In the past though Groupwise provided a very flaky IMAP4 implementation but that might have been fixed.  Pegasus Mail does not have direct access to their mail account for sending and receiving like that do with Mercury.NLM and Mercury working on a Netware server.
