Having issue with messages never showing up in pegasus, or if newmail folder closed and opened messages go missing.

I have checked no filters enabled on either mercury or pegasus

I have disabled spam halter

checked to make sure the AV product is not deleting messages

the client has a foward sent to his personal email, which is how he knows that the email never came to the new message folder.

One thing I did notice in system messages window, I saw the following

Fri, 10:03:45    Loading local legacy folders from cache file...

Fri, 10:03:47    Spamhalter bayesian plugin 4.5.0.165 started.

Fri, 10:03:47    Spamhalter message size limit is: 250000 bytes

Fri, 10:03:47    Spamhalter database size is: 23497 tokens

Fri, 10:03:47    Program started

this looks that even though the spam halter is unchecked it still looks likes its running. I dont know if this is the cause, but the messages do not show in junk mail

I also created a brand new mail directory for the user in case there was corruption of any kind in the old

out of ideas

please help

Did the new mail message limit get hit? If not, do CNM files (one per message, even if they don't show up in Pegasus Mail) get created in the new mail directory?

not even close on hitting the limit only about 100 in the inbox.  I did check the cnm files before but I have been through so many different ideas I have forgotten the result.if I find them what do I do,and if i dont what do i do?

I have no idea, but if the files are there there's a display issue with Pegasus Mail, if they aren't there's a message retrieval or file creation issue (Mercury - I have absolutely no clues about how it works?). It might be a good idea to ask for Mercury support in the latter case ... As for message retrieval try Internet session logs (Tools => Internet options => General at the bottom; please read the online help about dealing with it).

Are they being transferred to the defined 'Main' folder?  Have you done a search on the whole mailbox to see if they are in another folder?
I have checked no filters enabled on either mercury or pegasus
Is Mercury downloading them OK, and you don't see them in Pegasus? or are they not being received by Mercury?

Is Pegasus integrated with Mercury or are you getting the messages by POP or IMAP?
the client has a foward sent to his personal email, which is how he knows that the email never came to the new message folder.
Where is this forward - in Mercury or some other mail server?
