Crashing on Exit
It's not a big problem, but it's a bit of a nuisance.  I've searched this forum and found someone with a similar problem from 2007, and I fiddled with the files suggested in that thread as the source of the problem.  No change.  I uninstalled, wiped my directory, reinstalled... No change.
Did you ever check the Spamhalter issue described in this post? May I ask for crash dumps, again? I may provide you with a debug version of Pegasus Mail once you get the MiniDump extension to work properly.

I'm running Avira as well and never encountered such an issue, but you can only tell for sure after (temporarily) disabling both these applications, I'm afraid ...

Hi - I posted a week or so back with problems, which I decided eventually could be dealt with by reformatting my hard drive and reinstalling everything.  For a while after that things went fine.

Now, for the last three days, PMail crashes every time I exit.  I click (or do the keystrokes) to close, and it begins to close, then it seems to freeze for a moment and I get the error message:  Pegasus has encountered a problem and needs to close.

It's not a big problem, but it's a bit of a nuisance.  I've searched this forum and found someone with a similar problem from 2007, and I fiddled with the files suggested in that thread as the source of the problem.  No change.  I uninstalled, wiped my directory, reinstalled... No change.

Any ideas?

For anti-virus  & malware protection I'm running Avira Security and MalwareBytes.  I've looked at their configurations and don't see anything obvious that would be causing the problem

And I tried to find the detailed error report (from \temp\,) but failed, even when I tried while it was waiting for me to acknowledge the error message. (I'd thought it might be wiping the file when it closed all the way, but apparently not.  OTOH, maybe that's a clue to you more knowledgeable folks..?)

 Thanks

Elaine T.
