deleted items folder

Yes, indeed,

As Steffan said:  "If Outlook was more stable"  I'd remain perfectly pacified in that puddle of mediocrity.

Yes, it seems that I'll be much better off here once I figure out most of the tweaks that apply to me.

It's a slow laborious process, but, you guys are making it much more inviting & less intimidating.

Thanks

O.K.,

My Outlook crashed again.  So, I reckon, I'll spend all day today getting Pegasus up and running reasonably effeciently.

1)   Where's this "NEW" button for creating a new folder

2)   How do I empty my deleted items folder

Thanks,

I'll be back

1)  It's the 'Add' button. Second button from the left

2) Once Peg closes, 'deleted messages' folder gets emptied automatically.

good;

the manual said "new";  but, "add" gets me there.

as far as the deleted folder I must have clicked somewhere, 'cause I don't want to empty the folder automatically.

Can't I empty manually?

Go to General Settings/Advanced Settings  and check the " Deleted Messages Folder persists between sessions "
2)   How do I empty my deleted items folder
what I have done (I also do not want it automatically) is I have created a rule (folder close rule) to delete all mesages in the trash that are older than a week, so when I want to empty it I open it and close it, then on close the rule takes over and deletes the older messages

Thanks I'll be getting to the rules & filters soon.

It's not quite the same as Outlook which I've become quite effecient with.

If only the program was more stable!

If I'm not mistaken, he's referring to Outlook, which, apparently, crashed so often on him that he has decided to give Pmail a try. Excellent choice, Dave! :-) The program may take a little getting used to but once you've got the knack of it, you'll probably find it very powerful.

Cheers!
