At home I use pmail without a problem. The internet options are configured for my ISP.
On holiday, up to beginning this year, I left my pop option for my ISP, but my smtp option as the smtp server one of my gmail account and this worked.
Now it don't work anymore. I am in Tenerife and as far as I can see, the free connection I have is from Telefonica.
A few weeks ago being in Switzerland I had the same problem, the gmail trick didn't work. But fortunately, being on swisscom, I could find the correct smtp settings and could sent out mail.
Here for Telefonica I found the setting for the smtp server, but authentication is needed. Being on a free connection I don't have this information.
Therefor I was wondering if I could install mercury on my machine and use it to sent out the mail from pmail.
Thanks in advance
