We are confronted with permanent crashes of Pegaus mail.

The crashes occure when double clicking on the meassge list in an opened folder.

After restarting, click on same message usually works.

Crashes occure ca. 10 times a day on 10 Installations (20 total installed).

Also, when closing pegasus, ca. once a week I receive an error message, that the folder for outgoing mail needs to be reindexed, which leads to all kinds of trouble, like mails having been sorted into other folders reoccure, mails get lost, etc.

Is there a tool to help you track these bugs ?

If we can provide any help to solve the problem, we would love to do that.

We have been working with Pegasus for some years now and were very happy with it. The situation right now unfortunately is unbearable and we need to find a solution soon.

Pegasus 4.52

Win XP 32

Check the First Aid thread for possible issues and a  link to my MiniDump tool: Please note that it provides two modes of operation, if the "extension mode" doesn't work you'll have to use the "stand-alone mode", for details see the ReadMe file. I'll get back to you after checking your crash dumps (to be sent to the beta-reports account as indicated).

Hello Michael,

thank you very much. I have donwloaded the tool and it has already sent you a crash dump. I will continue this until you say STOP. For my questions concerning the redindexing I will open a new thread. I guess it is independant from the crashes....
