I am a brand new user.
I get this error whenever I try to send email.
I believe it is because smtp server requires authentication, only that I don't know how to check this option in Pegasus.

If that's the case, go to Tools | Internet options | Sending and then edit the part of the smtp server definition under the Security tab.
