New Mail disappearing

I've reset the folders in Spamhalter and Content Control, lets see what happens. I never touched any of them so I'm not sure as to how they would have chnaged...hmmmmm [:O]

Just installed V4.52 on Windows XP standalone. I can see 10 messages come in, but only a few of them show up in my New Mail folder. The other messages just disappear, I've checked the spam folder and also Junk or Suspicious mail folder.... The New Mail folder has no other messages in it or remaining. There are no filters active......any ideas

How are you counting them?  Have you set Session logs to see the raw input (Tools/Internet options - Create session logs) ?

Then you will be able to see exactly what emails are coming in. System messages should tell you about any filtering.

How do you know  that the messages were being downloaded?  Check the settings in the POP3 setup to ensure that you are in fact downloading the mail and not leaving it on the server.

I just activated the session logs to monitor we'll take a look a little later today to see what it says

I have been viewing the mail downloads by using the "Selective Mail Download" prior to just clicking on the check your pop host button. "Delete mail on server" is active in the Internet mail options. I just checked the Selective mail download and there were 4 msgs. only one showed up in New Mail.

Now you really need to check the new mail filters a lot closer.  If you you did not tell Spamhalter to use the deleted messages folder then it must be a new mail filter doing the deletions.
