Hi all,
When replying to, or forwarding a message which itself is a part of a thread, the earlier thread is often - but not always - truncated. If its a "forwarded" message thats truncated, a curt little message announces ----end of forwarded message----, but nothing so civilised appears on an terminated "reply"; the balance of the text just disappears!
This anomaly doesn't seem to be consistent; the error will repeat consistently on the affected threads, but not all forwards or replies exhibit the problem. However, when text does disappear, it happens at the same place, irrespective of whether the message is a forward or a reply.
So far, I haven't been able to detect any pattern to alert in advance which messages are likely to do this disappearing trick on me?
Any ideas? Suggestions or solutions would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
JohnnyK
