Selective download command option with Pegasus

Thank you all for your help.

Clicking the POP3 user option provided the instantaneous solution I needed.

I will now go and suggest that this solution/option be added to the help file. It should have been there years ago.

Thanks also for this suggestion"Check out bpanel.txt in Pegasus Mail's Resource directory."

I DID look at this two days ago; but decided that learning another (computer) language for which I would have no further use afterwards would be a waste of my precious time. I'm trying to give up adding interests to my life !

Also, it never crossed my mind that Pegasus would have any use other than with a POP3 system; and I will never work in any other computer environment anyway ( I'm too old).

I really like Pegasus and have never regretted starting to use it ?? 10 years ago.  Brian

Hi,

For one-off instances, one may go to the FILE menu and hit the "Selective Download" command.

However, there is another command hidden somewhere in the system that places a (O?) button on the Tool-bar just to the left of the ($) button.  Yesterday, having installed Pegasus on the machine of my partner with the express purpose of giving her this facility ( since her "Outlook Express" was always clogging up), I spent FOUR fruitless hours looking for it.

Can somebody please explain where to find this command. Pegasus HELP is silent on this matter.

 Thanks, Brian J

Check out bpanel.txt in Pegasus Mail's Resource directory.

The pop3 user toolbar has a button for this. Go to Tools | Options | Toolbars (under User interface) and select Pop3 user under Main window toolbar style. You can also use the option suggested by Michael to customise

the toolbar according to your preferences but that takes a little more

work.

Cheers!
