As far as I know, you can control this in Tools | Options | Message formatting. However, I do believe that the broken line ends are on the recipient's end rather than yours. I regularly have to hit F5 or Ctrl+F5 to to be able to read a message properly, depending on its source (email client, web mail, etc.). I have no idea how this works in other email clients. What email clients do the people you send mail to use? Do they all use the same email client or different ones?

I'm new to Pegasus and haven't been able to find a way to set it so that things I write wrap to the page.  Does anybody know of a way to do this?  Otherwise things come out kind of strange and choppy sometimes when people get them. 

I've run a search for it, but didn't get any results, so maybe I'm just overlooking something obvious.

There is no 'wrap to page' function within the message viewer. There are two other 'reformat' functions:

F5 - Reformat long lines

Control-F5 - Wrap long lines

While the message is open you can tap F5/Ctrl-F5 to see which is better for displaying the text.

I'm not sure I understand: How do they look at your end and what's different at the recipient's end? Are you talking about plain or formatted (HTML) text? There are several options for reformatting messages on your side, but if the display at the recipient's side gets messed up it's surely nothing you've got to deal with ...

 When you wrap to page, at the end of the page the words will simply continue on the next line, like they do in this post.  When you don't have that option, when the line ends it gets broken up when people receive it.  So what I just wrote might look like this:

Usually that's true, but it's annoying to people to have to read it that way, especially if it's a long post.  Also, sometimes you're sending something like a poem that you want to have look a certain way.

Email wasn't designed for replacing word processors, originally it was strictly line oriented and in fact Pegasus Mail get's into more and more trouble since an increasing number of recent email clients appear to ignore the rules. Try using formatted (HTML) mails (check the Rich text option in the editor), HTML is supposed to ignore line breaks unless explicitely told otherwise by hitting the Return key.
