STARTTLS problems

Hmm, very odd, the user reports it is now working, without (apparently) anything changing.

Sorry to waste your time.

I've marked my question as resolved.

thanks,

Ian.

Hi,

I'm trying to get two machines working with Pegasus talking to a postfix server with STARTTLS via the submission port. One works and the other doesn't.

The Pegasus configurations are identical (as far as I can tell from debugging via emailed screenshots :)

The working machine is XP Professional 2002 SP 2, the failing machine is XP Home 2002 SP 3.

Anonymised logs are attached. The failing machine issues STARTTLS and is told:

454 4.5.1 Error: TLS already active

any ideas?

thanks,

Ian.

Since both sessions report 'Authentication successful' the problem must lie elsewhere and because you have removed the actual addresses it's not possible to test further.  Have you asked your relay host?
