Pegasus Mail Suggestions
Selective Mail Download - simple addition

I would suggest that if you get so many messages that can be deleted, they are probably recognizable as such both visually, as well as by setting up filters. All that is necessary is to direct the *hits* to the Deleted folder, where they can be examined before permanent deleting them.

If it is just junk mail that you are removing, you should really set up Spamhalter or Content Control in Pegasus Mail, or setup an external mail checking agent to analyse the probability of garbage content (examples are Popfile and K9 which both *learn* as they get used)

Your keyboard suggestion would be difficult to implement as keyboard keys are sent to all open windows within Pegasus Mail.

We use "Selective Mail Download" a lot. We select ranges of messages by SHIFT and CTRL clicking them and then clicking the "Mark for deletion button".

However, it is a pain to repeatedly move the mouse up and down between the message list and the "Mark for deletion" button.

I would really like to mark for deletion just by hitting the Delete key on the keyboard. The mouse cursor can then stay where it is ready to mark the next message range.

I guess I am really asking for a keyboard shortcut for the on-screen buttons - perhaps the Delete key for "Mark for deletion" and the space-bar for "Mark for retrieval" (I notice that CTRL-A already works for selecting all messages).
