Hello,

First: I'm new to Mercury. But I'm not new in email server configuration. :)

I want to use Mercury to get incoming and outgoing emails as files in folders. An other application will grab and delete the files after processing. In front of the Mercury SMTP server I have an other SMTP virus and spam filter system configrued as smarthost. So Mercury is an internal mail server.

To keep it simple I would like to use a catch all mailbox. So all emails for defined email domains should be delivered to this mailbox.

 Bye Martin

Set up a Domain Mailbox (Configuration / Mercury core / Local domains).

So an entry

DM=myuser yourdomain.com

will put all mail into the mailbox of 'myuser'.

Hello PaulW,

thanks for your answer. I found it some minutes ago. ;) The way to configure it looks a little curios at the first moment. ;)
But it's running.

Next problem:
I have some problems to understand the local domain entries.

I'm trying to send email with VBS directly on the Mercury but I'm always getting: 553 We do not relay non-local mail, sorry.

Mecruy is a local mail server behind the official smarthost for the internet domain. The internal domain name is different.

Bye Martin
