64 bit windows 7

Whoa, I didn't know that. I'm sorry, mummy! As a side note on my part, why did you pick this nick? For a 48-year old, it feels kinda funny saying "I'm sorry, mummy!" :-)

Cheers!

Hi, i am about to get a 64 bit windows 7 computer. I have been using Xp sp3 and i must say i will miss it. I am not looking forward to losing outlook express as i hate the web based windows live mail. I don’t do msn, face book, twitter, gmail or any other forms of social networking. Don’t get me wrong i am very good with computers (installing, building) i just don’t like having my emails stored on a web based email client. Will this program work with 64 bit windows 7? I like the look of the program as it is similar layout to outlook but I’m guessing with a bit more under the hood.....Hope someone can help......

I have no experience with 64 bit Windows 7, but if you search this forum (hint, hint), you'll find plenty of posts saying that Pmail works fine on the 64 bit system.

Cheers!

Pegasus Mail works fine on our Windows 2008 64bit Server so it should work fine on Win 7 64bit too.

Thanks. Just as a side note i did search the forum. I typed 64 bit windows 7 into search bar and got nothing that helped me with my question. I spent about a half hour looking before i joined, then i looked some more but still couldnt find an answer. I figured i might as well ask. Nothing ventured nothing gained.....Thanks from an Aussie Mummy

Yep, the search sometimes acts rather broken, you may want to take a look at this post.
