What exactly? If you don't understand any of the options please look them up in the online help (via Help button), what else would be confusing? If you answer a distinct question you'll get a distinct answer, I'm sure.

I am having trouble in the past weeks in getting a complete download of my new messages. I now have to make a selective mail download to find all my new messages. I am a long time user of Pegasus(now running 4.52) and run winXP pro. I have checked all my settings and can not see what is wrong or has changed. I recently changed my default folder from my main folder to my new message folder, but that doesn't seem to have affected this issue. Please help! David Seber

1. Turn on session logging during a download to see what is happening.
2. Increase the timeout in the POP3 setup to something like 180 seconds.
One of these two thing should show or fix a problem where the POP3 download is breaking on a message
Please disregard this post (edited, deletion isn't possible anymore), it came in much too late due to "moderation" which also prevented Thomas' post from appearing in time [8o|].

Dear Thomas
I am only getting a selection of new messages (which are individually complete). I discover the "missing"
messages by using selective download. The timeout on my pop3 is 300 seconds. I can not figure out how
to see or retrieve logs (even after checking off the box in internet options POP3) -David Seber
Is it possible there is a download control size limit set? What you describe fits exactly what I see when messages are oversized, are downloaded successfully and viewed ok, but those remaining on server are only viewable or downloadable using selective download.

Click the Help button on Tools => Internet options => General, then select General Internet Mail settings for the respective help entry at the bottom of the page.

What about your settings on Tools => Internet options => Receiving => (Double-click the topmost POP3 definition) => Download controls? Do you have any of the Message download controls options enabled?

Dear IDW,
I am getting very confused on these instructions, but I do have "download only unread mail" checked off in my download controls-David Seber
