Ah.

It got copied to C:\PMAIL\PMAIL
so it would not work

I have now renaamed to C:\PMAIL
and it's fine.

I have moved to a new PC and want to keep all my
existing mail folders and settings.

I have kept a copy of the PMAIL folder.

Can you advise please

Dear Harvey,

Just copy the whole PMAIL folder (default C:\PMAIL) to your new computer.
