After your suggestion, I had made that you propose.

I had installed the previous version and all was similar (very bad performance).
In that point, I remember that 1 month ago I had changed my switch from 100 Mb to 1 Gb.

The results has been incredible. If I work with the 1 Gb switch, to move one hundred of small messages from a folder to another one take 3 minutes. If I work with the 100 Mb switch, the same test only need 8-10 seconds.

May be a problem with a "delay routine". In my case I will go to downgrade my switch untill I will deploy a new server in the next 2 months.

I am having many performance problems after upgrade to 4.61.

I use the program thru a NOVELL server in a windows xp client.

I was using 4.x versions many years ago and with the new version the performance is very poor.

I had "On demand only" but setting that "Advanced settings" value to "Always" don´t resolve the problem.

I am tested also the parameter about the "recovery space". This value was in 5000000 (almost ten years ago). Viewing the tutorial I change it to 24000. Now send a mail start a "compressing folder" process for more than 25 minutes and my computer don´t respond durinf that time.

I don´t know what can I test.

• Did you restart Pegasus Mail after changing the WINSOCK option to Always? You need to for getting this issue solved.
• What's your default printer? A network printer? Try setting up a local printer, for possible printer issues see this thread, e.g.

I restarted the program but that doesn't solve the problem. By the other hand, my default printer is local.

I've noticed that  that the startup process are longer. The "Preparing mail gateway ..." and "Opening new mail folder" steps take 2 or 3 minutes.

If I move a "New mail folder" message from 1 Mb to another folder, the process takes longer than 2 minutes.

Can I downgrade the 4.61 version simply reinstalling the 4.52 version?

No, you would need to uninstall IERenderer separately, but this can be done via control panel's uninstall screen (where all Windows software can be uninstalled), the respective entry is called Pegasus Mail HTML Renderer.

After uninstall IERenderer, I only need reinstall the 4.52 version?

I think so, but I'm not so sure it'll fix your issues.
