Messages struck in pending state

 I configured mercury on my local system. However, when I try to send mail it get struck in 'pending' mode.

Answer Section:
    guerrillamailblock.com, A, 184.154.136.50
    guerrillamailblock.com, MX, 0, guerrillamailblock.com
    guerrillamailblock.com, NS, ns2.jobboardhosting.com
    guerrillamailblock.com, NS, ns1.jobboardhosting.com

This is a valid host with a valid MX record.  The first thing that comes to mind is that you are trying to use MercuryE to send the mail and you do not have a valid fixed IP address and registered host name.  The other very good possibility is that your ISP is blocking port 25.  Convert to MercuryC and use your ISPs SMTP host as a relay host.

I've noticed on another post that we need to set nameserver in MercuryE SMTP server. Since I am using my local machine, I tried setting this value as my ip address but it is still showing the same error. I've tried sending mail to other domains also and I am getting the same error. I've tried sending mail using PHP mail (on WAMP), through Send Mail function in Mercury, after disabling windows firewall and got pending status everytime.

 This is my log message for mercuryS SMTP server.

I also checked if I gave the correct IP address in MercuryS SMTP server and MercuryP POP3 server for the field "IP Interface to use"

Can anyone tell me how to proceed from here?

Thanks in advance,

Yes, DNS resolution is the issue.

Unless you are running a DNS server on your local machine, your own IP address is not going to work.

You need to enter the address of a DNS server (try the same one that is in your OS's network settings).

You will also have problems using MercuryE if your ISP blocks port 25 or if you have a dynamic IP address.

In either case try MercuryC using another relay (your ISP, Gmail etc.)

"IP interface to use" should be left blank unless you have some special reason to restrict this to a specific network interface.

MercuryE will normally get name server settings from Windows. However, the MX information for guerrillamailblock.com seems confused:

- Name=guerrillamailblock.com
    Type=MX, Class=1, TTL=600 (10 Minutes), RDLENGTH=4
    Preference=0, Mail Exchange=guerrillamailblock.com

A host record with the same name as the domain itself has apparently been created and entered as MX:

- Name=guerrillamailblock.com
    Type=A, Class=1, TTL=14400 (4 Hours), RDLENGTH=4
    IP Address=184.154.136.50

A host record called for instance mail.guerrillamailblock.com is probably expected here.
