Question about "-ROAM" -- UN-Install Or Leave It On ?

[quote user="A01"]

Should I un-install from the big computer on my desk at home ?

I have 2 or 3 years of messages.

You don' have to uninstall it for the other to work satisfactorily.

I want to use my small computer to pick up E-mail via Wi-Fi hot spots.

I installed Pegasus on the hard drive of that computer.

I subsequently became aware of the "-ROAM" option and the memory stick capability.

I want to try that.

Should I Un-Install Pegasus from the hard drive before installing it on the memory stick ?

I will most probably want to flip it over here as well, and use my home desktop in the same way.

Should I Un-Install pegasus from my big machine here on the desk before I try to use it here ?

It would probably simplify things if you did a clean install on a machine without an existing copy of Pmail.

I suppose also that you could maintain a copy on your desktop as a backup, updating the mail folder regularly, just in case of loss or damage to your laptop/thumb drive.

I can remove the (fresh, never used) Pegasus on the small computer via "Control Panel" --> "Add/Remove Software"

Is there an un-install  program  in the Pegasus group of programs ?

Uninstall via Control Panel and then manually delete the residual Pmail folder.(C:\PMAIL by default)

I have 2 or 3 years of messages.

Handy File Tool tells me that my Pmail folder is a Gigabyte now.
