replies truncated

(Thumping my head) I didn't even think to make sure I was in the current version.

 Thanks, Michael.

Hi -

I've been using Pegasus for fifteen years and have noticed, when replying to an email, Pegasus will sometimes truncate the quoted text. It's happening more frequently lately and I can't seem to stop the behavior however I set up the options.

I've searched the forums and found two threads around this issue but the fix - to select the entire message and choose to include the "whole message" in the reply - isn't working. Also, the message is truncated whether I'm working in rich text or plain text.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

And please talk down to me: often the responses I've read here are technically over my head.

Thanks,

Mark

Sounds like the message being replied to is HTML and has more than 900 odd characters (1024?!?) before a line break.

This is bad form (breaks the RFC for message body).

Somethings you can display the raw text (tab along the top of the message when opened) and copy paste from there.

Copy and paste does work and I think you're probably right about the problem being in the underlying email. But it's happening quite a bit and copy and paste is very slow. I'm still hoping there's another work around.

 Thanks for responding.

This issue has been fixed in v4.61, the current one, see here.
