Second question:
From the help files:
"Working with search results
When you perform a search, Pegasus Mail creates a special search results folder in an entry called Recent search results near the top of your master list of folders. The search results folder has the text you searched for and the date and time of the search as its name. The search results folder is a special type of folder called a link folder - it does not contain the actual messages that were found in the search, but special links to those messages instead. This means that link folders are very small and efficient, and they can contain references to messages in many other folders. When you select a link folder and view its contents, you will see an extra column at the right of the list of messages: this column shows the name of the folder where the message is actually stored. You can work with link folders in exactly the same way as you would work with any other folder.
Saving and loading searches
If you have particular searches that you perform regularly, you can save them and load them again at any time. Simply set up the search as you want it to proceed, including any folder selections on which you want it to operate, then click the Save button. Pegasus Mail will prompt you for a filename and location, defaulting to a directory called Searches in your home mailbox directory.
When you click the Load button, Pegasus Mail will prompt you to select a search you have previously saved from this dialog. Any settings you have defined in the dialog will be replaced with the values stored in the saved search."
