Can't delete messages from inbox

Michael,

Thanks so much.  You've solved the mystery, although I don't know how they became read-only in Pegasus Mail in the first place.

Hi.  I am running Windows XP SP3 and I can't delete some messages from my inbox.  I noticed this because I have a filter which deletes these messages once they've been read (they're from a daily newsletter).  This only seems to apply to messages from April 27- April 30 from this specific sender.  I even created a General Rule Set filter and that wouldn't delete them either.  (A second General Rule Set was able to set these messages to a specific color, however.)  I checked the actual email files from within Windows XP and they're not set as Read-only -- only the Archive attribute is set.  Has anyone experienced anything like this before?  Any ideas other than deleting them directly from with Windows?  Thanks.

Did you check wheher these messages are marked as read-only in Pegasus Mail? There's a small lock symbol to which you can click for toggling its status - either on preview's details ribbon or the top of the reader window right from the tabs.
