Ambiguous e-mail addresses

> Yes, both identities have the exactly same SMTP sending options.

You were sending with an identity without an SMTP setup, that's what the error message told you.  Are you absolutely sure that there is not another identity without the SMTP setup?

I'm not all that sure what you mean.  The only major difference between v4.6x and v4.5x is the addition if the IE Renderer as part of the install. If it's turned off there is no more complexity at all.

The following error message came up when a "reply to" message was generated.

The address 'info@easyscreens.co.uk' could be either and SMTP or an MHS address. Please use an IN: or MHS: override on the address so WinPMail knows where to send it.

BUT it only does this on one of the identities (i.e.my wife's) and not the other (mine).

So : as this is the first time such a message has appeared, where are the Over-rides to tell Pegasus it is one or the other?

There seem to be some real problems here - can I roll back to v4.5?

This means that there is no SMTP queue setup for that identity in Tools | Internet options |  Sending (SMTP)

Thank you, but was there supposed to be some more in your post?  i have checked the Tools/Options bit and the setup seems to be exactly the same for the other identity (user), i.e. me.

Is there a quick answer, and should I roll back to v4.5, and if so, how?

I appreciate the help,

Did you check the Tools | Internet options | (Sending) SMTP for each identity? At least one of them has none set.

Why would you want to do that, it has nothing to do with the version you are running?

Yes, both identities have the exactly same SMTP sending options.

However, the issue seems to have gone away, since more e-mails to the same address which triggered the "Ambiguous" message have been sent without difficulty.

On the roll-back question, I asked because there does seem to be a lot more complexity in the new version, most of which I am sure we will not be accessing.  Hence my question.
