Font size in address/subject (and html)

The address and subject fields are not resizable in current 4.x series either in WinPMail or in the win OS of later versions.

The only visual change in size may be achieved by changing the display driver resolution and you might want to try 1024x768 or 800x600 if the system and monitor will allow that settings to be used. I have the same problem with my new machine with 1366x768 display.

Try using magnify which is a included in some later win OS versions.

HTML display may be increased by use of ctrl_  + pg up if using IERenderer of ctrl+> in BearHTML if size is not precoded in by the sender. If using the IERenderer it can be increased even if hard coded in the source so that may be a reason to use the IERenderer.

The OS settings for large font or 125% or 150% increase have no effect in WinPMail.

I am maintaining the installation for a visually impaired person:

  • where can I set the size of the font in the address/subject fields? My guess is: not in Pegasus but in Windows (XP). Is this correct?
  • is there a way to increase the display of a html-only mail?

While I cannot answer the first question (it's a difficult issue, Thomas Stephenson might know better) the answer to the latter depends on the version of Pegasus Mail being used: If using 4.61 you can configure a default zoom factor above 100% in IERenderer's configuration dialog (via its toolbar button) and use some shortcuts or the mouse wheel for resizing on demand (see its menu and online help).
