Hello Michael

I deleted the file and this seems to have worked perfectly. Thank you for your help.

Cheers

Hello Each time I try to delete or move a message it checks folder consistency then comes back with the message "Seek failure in master file".

I have tried indexing various folders, including the Deleted Folder but I'm not making any progress. If anyone could offer suggestions it would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

In recent versions of Pegasus Mail there's a tool named "mbxmaint_ui.exe" in Pegasus Mail's program directory, it might help. Did you try deleting the deleted messages folder? It might also be useful to figure out the exact folder causing this issue if it isn't the deleted messages folder itself, e.g. by copying a message to folders one by one.

Hi Michael Thanks for your quick reply. It appears to happen every time you try to delete any message even from the New Mail folder. If I delete the Deleted Mail folder I presuambly will have to start another Deleted Mail Folder. I really am a computer pygmy so step by step help is what I would appreciate. Thank you , Paul

Pegasus Mail recreates it automatically when deleting a message.
