Windows 7 Client Internet Setup Wizard

My bad. It was a permissions issue - which is what I thought I checked into first. I looked at STATE.PMJ and MAIN.PNM. It turns out that I could read and write some files in my Pmail directory but not all of them. Thanks for your assistance.

I have Pegasus installed on a mapped drive on a Windows 2003 Server.

I just switched to a Windows 7 , 32 bit workstation from a Windows XP workstation.

I ran wssetup from the Pegasus directory to install on my workstation.

Now, every time that I start Pegasus the Internet Setup Wizard comes up. I can click on cancel, but the I must go into Tools -> Internet Options and add my email address and go into both the receive an send tabs, click on add and select my saved definition. I have tried going all the through the wizard to see if that would stop it but to no avail. I can write files to the mapped drive where Pegasus resides so I do not think it is a permissions issue. Any ideas as to why the internet wizard keeps coming up and my internet options do not seem to be saved when I close Pegasus?

I also made some changes in Tools -> Options and they take while in Pegasus but when I close and re-open Pegasus, they disappear.

This is only a guess (provided we're talking about version 4.61): It could be related to an IERenderer issue fixed in later versions (causing silent crashes on Pegasus Mail's termination): You could either try to uninstall it (there should be an uninstall entry in the respective control panel section) or update to the most recent version. If the installer doesn't work for you you may need to use the Inno Setup Unpacker for doing it manually.

It is Pegasus 4.61 - I forgot to put that in the original post.

I downloaded and executed the exe from the link you provided. I am still getting behviour.

The exe created an IERenderer directory with BearHlpIE-En.htm and IERenderer.dll in it. Is there something more that I need to do with either of these two files?

These files should have been there before (Pegasus Mail's setup uses the same installer when setting up 4.61), just the files should be updated. If this doesn't help there must be something else involved.
