I know I have seen the answer to this before but i can't find it.  My Pmail shows 1 message queued but when I delete it it is still there.  Help!!!  I am using Windows 7 stand alone version, 4-61,

You will have to delete the message file(s) manually using win explorer.

After you have sent all message you can then exit winpm-32 and check your
home mail box location for *.pmx, *.pmw and *.pnx files.

Correct extension to delete to remove mail message files from queue are
*.pmx, *.pmw and *.pnx files.

The .pmx are final form messags. The .pmw are reeditable form messages
and the .pnx are rich text versions of .pmw files with same name/number

*.pmo files are your saved drafts or stationary messages.and also have companion .pnx files or same name/number
