Creating a rule with the "Inserts Text Fragment Action".

You may need to experiment a bit to get it right. STYLE tags will take precedence over standard HTML tags in most HTML renderers. There are some examples for how to set the font size with CSS here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_font.asp

I created a file in notepad.  The file contains a disclaimer to be used on all of the outgoing emails at my place of employment.  I set the font for the smallest size.  When a user sends out an email, the font is three times the size that I want.  How can I change the font where my dislclaimer is in a font that is the smallest size.

Thanks.

This is what Mercury help says about inserting a text fragment:

When you create a rule with an action that inserts a text fragment, you provide the rule with the name of a text file containing the text it should add. If you wish, you can create a second file in the same location and with the same name, but with the extension .HTM, containing simple HTML text that Mercury should insert into HTML documents. Mercury will insert the text version of the file into plain text message parts, and the HTML version into HTML parts (it is inserted immediately before the </HTML> tag at the end of the message). If you do not provide an HTML version of the text, Mercury will insert the text version in a <BLOCKQUOTE> section of the message, which is probably adequate for most situations. Note that if you provide an HTML part, it can include most HTML formatting except for graphics.

So if you create the optional .HTM file you can use HTML text formatting, including STYLE tags, to control the font size etc.

Hello. Thank you so much.

I created the HTM file and still no luck.  I placed the tags in the file for the font size and color and still didn't see a change.

Thanks again.
