<p>Greetings,</p><p>Two weeks ago I built a new box now running Win7 64  and all was good until last night when Explorer and several Win updates were installed. <p>It was allowing windows update to install IE9 that did you in. In order to *fix* install and run the latest IERenderer from community site and then run ierenderer.exe and follow the prompts.</p><p>http://community.pmail.com/files/folders/community_add-ons_for_pegasus_mail/entry24145.aspx </p>

<p>Thanks, I'll apply the "fix" tonight. Because it was a new system, I foolishly thought that any and all Win updates were "healthy" for my system.</p><p>BTW, a search of this forum for "Win7 & 64 OS crash" did not shed light on my predicament.</p><p>Thanks again for a quick reply.  </p><p> </p>
